Do you really think PA results will be released this Friday? 4/8?

I think there is a really good chance. If you read through the rest of this thread, it looks like we can expect an email on Wednesday telling us that the results will be released on Friday.Acdc54 wrote:Do you really think PA results will be released this Friday? 4/8?

Or, worst case scenario, the results come out next Friday instead. But the time is nigh.caveman2 wrote:I think there is a really good chance. Re: PA Bar Wait Group
Last year the automated email letting you know the results were coming on Friday happened at 3:00pm Wednesday.
Not looking good for a 4/8 release date.

Checked the list five times. I'm so glad my name is unique! Congrats to all of the other future PA attorneys!

Re: PA Bar Wait Group
Passed! This was my fourth time taking the PA bar exam. After failing the third time, I took a year off and worked in a non-law related field.
I then signed up with THEMIS for my fourth and final try (studied with Barbri before). I refused to pay for the CBT. So I ended up writing the PT and 6 essays by hand. Surprisingly, I finished with 30 minutes left to spare.
With my previous three tries, I left the exam feeling I could have prepared more or done better. With this one, I honestly thought I gave it my all and if I still fail, then maybe it just wasn't meant to be. This type of mentality is probably the main reason why I failed the first three, but was finally able to pass this time around.
I ignored all the "All you need is a C+ grade to pass" comments and prepared as if I was gunning for an A. For all repeaters, I highly recommend adopting that mindset as well. I was too naive to realize how fallacious that type of thinking was.

Re: PA Bar Wait Group
Passed the bar - but have a minor C&F issue to take care of, so I didn't get a certificate with my results packet.
I have a small unpaid debt that BOLE sent me a letter about. I just paid it off.
Does anyone have any information as to what the next step is? Do I need to provide any documentation to the BOLE? How would I do that?
Is this going to be a long delay before I get my certificate? Sorry, the PA board website is just extremely unhelpful compared to other jurisdictions.

I'm also in C&F limbo. I called C&F today to see what the timeline was looking like. Right now my stuff has been kicked up to whatever the next level is beyond the primary investigators--basically I guess they're deciding if I'm going to have to have a hearing or not. I asked how long that was going to take, and they said it's hard to say, but could be "awhile." I asked what "awhile" meant--is that a couple of months? They said yeah, could be, but hard to say. Which sucks for me because I don't know what to do in the meantime.lolwatt wrote:Passed the bar - but have a minor C&F issue to take care of, so I didn't get a certificate with my results packet.

Lolwatt, you need to print out proof that you paid the debt and send it via certified mail to the C&F people. It should say who your investigator is in the letter they sent you.

Anyone else who has already been through this process, i.e. where they didn't get the certificate right away after bar results, I would greatly appreciate any info you could give on the process and how long it took.

They didn't send me my admission ticket for the bar exam either, hopefully it shows up.

Any thoughts on release date? I've heard rumors about Oct. 7.

Definitely by Oct 7 because that would follow last year, and the only reason the 2014 exam was later was because they had technology issues that year.transferror wrote:Any thoughts on release date? I've heard rumors about Oct. 7.
I'm wondering if we get the email in the next hour or so - 2 reasons: (1) the deadline for submitting name / address changes is a week earlier than last year and (2) there's roughly 200 less test takers this july vs. last july.
That said, it's likely next Friday.

Sure would be nice to get them this week but I expect next week as well just because that follows the pattern. I'll tell ya one thing though, im getting sick of getting junk and work related emails while waiting on a bar related email.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
