As long as we are all suffering together, let's ask this question: which is worse?

1) Having everyone tell you "of course you will pass" while freaking out that you won't

2) Watching the deadline count down...day by day....hour by hour...

Doubting yourself while you watch the counter tick down and check the clock every 2 minutes. Will I "of course" pass? Is that possible? Are they right after all? What if they're wrong?

And then you find out they were indeed wrong.

Oh, uh, but to answer your question, I guess #1 is worse because if they're wrong everyone involved suffers.

Seems to happen all the time with inventions. It's like the cal bar exam. Get a paragraph of invention disclosure and you have to figure it out and write 30 pages describing it in the application.
