Yeah, it's been VERY distracting. You guys won't get off my back, and I'm missing a lot of notes in this hearing. My boss is going to be pissed.

Did not get the email. Doubt it means anything because I'm sure every law student ever would know if getting an file number email meant passing the bar.

So funny that so many people named Lawyer passed the bar exam. I have to imagine that a bar examiner reading an application from someone named "Lawyer" is more inclined to pass them. It's psychological stuff.

I wonder if it means you have not previously requested your file number, so they are sending it to you so that you don't have a bunch of people requesting it at the same time that others are trying to see results.

Did either of you who got the email previously request your file number?

Do they see applicants' names or just randomized #s?

If you go to the link I posted, you'll see that there are no names posted yet. I never claimed to have the results.

I was just kidding; dtl linked a list to the white pages of people with the last name "Lawyer." I don't think they see names, just application numbers.

Unless you were also trolling. In which case, of course they see names. They have quotas for how many licensed lawyers can have a particular last name.

i didn't....not sure why I got it. I did try logging on just to see if the "requirements" section changed with regards to "Passing the CA bar", but it still said requirement not satisfied. Maybe that triggered it? I agree that others in the past would have said something, so likely nothing

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
