Anyone taking the bar in Feb. and not taking a prep course? I have a complete set of Kaplan books with no writing in them (they sent me two copies and told me to keep one). PM me.

... for anyone who submitted an etranscript with their application previously, can anyone confirm they were sent to a "ma**.si****s@mdcourts.gov"?

I called and requested an email address to have mine sent to today because I couldn't find the address online but I swear the guy who answered the phone sounded half out of his mind.

Thanks for that Katie. Like you, I had to take time off. I also had to rent a car for the commute. One of my friends had to fly in from California. All this to be "taught" things that every graduate of an ABA accredited school already took a course on in law school (the ABA requires a course on professional responsibility).

OMG, buying a plane ticket for this would have sent me over the edge. Is your friend going to have to fly in again for swearing-in???? I would lose my mind.

FYI- they posted the july 2015 essay questions, but not the answers yet... im so curious to see what the model answers look like

The posted the model answers, too. I really wish they would put the seat number of the bar taker next to their model answer!!!

They are replacing it with a three-hour online course. They still aren't implementing MPRE though, which I find interesting. I learned a lot studying for the MPRE. Both UMD and UB Deans opposed adopting MPRE. Judge Greene was the only judge that voted for adopting it.

I want my 8 hours of annual leave back.

Does anyone know what we should expect at the swearing in ceremony this week? Mine is tomorrow and I'm curious about how long we'll be there, whether there's a reception, etc.

I am the Feb MD Bar, using Kaplan. Its endless stuff to do. If anyone would like to share study tips/study material/outlines, that would be great!!
