I just tried this but I answered "no" to the question of whether I'm waiting on July 2014 bar results and clicked continue to see what would happen. I then got this response:

"Immediate repeater: The information you provided matches the information contained in the immediate repeater file."

If you answer no to the July 2014 bar question, do you get a different response?
I get this also.

That looks familiar. I believe I got that message before Friday (but passed).

Thanks for responding! Good to know its meaningless. This wait has been really rough. I've been a long time reader of tls but waiting for the bar has moved me to finally post haha

As my name suggests, results come out on my birthday. I know every birthday wish is going to come with a "So...did you?" I really want to be able to say I passed the bar.

A lot of people are comparing this year to 2004, the last time MBE scores were this low. Well below is a link to the CA statistics for that year. 69% of ABA approved school 1st time takers passed

And that's if you're in-state. Drops to 65.8 for out-of-state ABA approved. :|

Yea, it let me advance to the next stage when I clicked yes. I didn't try registering all the way though, because, you know...$700

I don't think I will ever forgive the cal bar for making us wait like this. There is no reason for it. They could have hired a few more graders and gave us the results a month ago.

I agree that this is taking absurdly long. Given 12,000 bar takers in California, and given a 50% pass rate, that means 6,000 passed on the first read. Of the 6,000 that failed, probably half of those are within the re-read tolerance (whatever that is). So they must re-read and re-grade about 3,000. The re-reads are not done by the normal graders, but rather the examiners themselves. I think this is why it takes so long to get results. If anyone knows better, please let us know. Thank you.

Is anyone else experiencing mini-anxiety attacks and frequent nightmares that they haven't passed? I feel like I'm going crazy.... I cannot deal with this anxiety tbh and if I fail I don't know if I can do this again for February and will likely wait. This is by far the worst I've ever felt all my life. I know passing the bar won't take away my student loan debt and will not find me a job, heck, it isn't the magic answer or a fountain of youth, it won't make me have an amazing relationship with my family or make me the most popular person around, but just putting a cap on this and being DONE will be such an immense relief to me... I can finally move forward with my life and move on to bigger and better things... No one else around me seems to understand the level of existential angst this is causing me.

Ah, also just questioning why I ever want to law school in the first place... I could have taken my Bachelors in English and become an elementary school teacher. I remember before law school having vague dreams of "helping people" solve their problems and being somebody but now those all seem so foolish considering the hugely expensive education I obtained and the fact that I'm currently doing little with it, and if I don't pass this stupid exam, can't do much.

Told you the anxiety feels were bad.

Me neither. I have a free re-take with my bar course available, but I can only use it on the February bar. Of course, I currently can't afford to pay for the February bar (can't afford the money, and can't afford the mental strength) so lolz thanks bar course

I sunk in everything into this past summer -- money, energy, my soul really -- so I'm just wondering how to cope if I fail.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
