don't get worked up about it. that crim/evidence question was ridiculous and tested way too much in way too little time. everyone walked away a loser.

Yeah that's incredibly scummy that they don't make it clear on the payment screen that you won't get your results from them if your jurisdiction hasn't released them. I mean, I totally understand why they do it (because people will pay before looking) but that doesn't make it ok. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised though, because considering the amount of fucks NY BOLE gives about us (zero, if anyone was wondering,) why would NCBE be any better.LionelHutzJD wrote:I already paid the fee and there is nothing in my file cabinet.SureAndCertain wrote:They won't give them to you until your jurisdiction officially releases them. I don't know, I thought the MPT was the easiest part of the exam, by far. Not really worried about that at all compared to the MBE and especially the MEE.

Don't panic with the real property part. It relates to whether the equipment is a fixture and the since it included mortgages etc it should also be described as real property one question too. My guess is that if you have tackled the sec trans part and applied any rule to the facts in a professional manner, it won't matter much if you haven't picked the real prop side of it. In a few words: don't sweat it if you missed it.

To be fair, they do tell you. It's certainly not clear though and you have to view the disclosure on a separate page.SureAndCertain wrote:Yeah that's incredibly scummy that they don't make it clear on the payment screen that you won't get your results from them if your jurisdiction hasn't released them. Re: NY July 2016 Thread
In any case, I'm trying to decode the URL where the results look-up may be waiting.
https://www.nybarapply.org/f12rlu/xresults.asp
https://www.nybarapply.org/FEXR/xresults.asp
https://www.nybarapply.org/OnlineExamResults.aspx
These were some past lookups, and they were pretty old (on the nybarapply domain rather than the nybarexam domain.)
Does anyone have the private results link to the July 2015 exam? It would be the most useful in trying to determine the 2016 url.

Haha same here. I've gone back and tried every url I can think of with "16" instead of "12" or "13" or whatever. These bastards are smarter than I thought.aresdude wrote:Thanks! People have said on here that the NY Law Journal usually posts at 10:30 the night of a midnight score release.
What about the 5 pm release days? Does the NYLJ post then too?

Only known evidence of NYLJ doing it once for the midnight release. Thus, no real history to work off of.mclf90 wrote:People have said on here that the NY Law Journal usually posts at 10:30 the night of a midnight score release.

Right, that was the thrust of my comment. It shouldn't be on a separate page that you have to navigate too, they should tell you before you confirm payment. But they don't, because they know we get desperate and think we can skirt our jurisdictions' ludicrous wait times by going directly to them.MrT wrote:To be fair, they do tell you. One of the deans from my school was told from a "not bar official" (stress on that) that it's looking like tomorrow.

Not an inch-more room to self-destruct.
No more moves oh yeah, the dead end zone.
Man you just can't call your soul your own.
But the thing that makes you really jump
Is that the weirdest shit is still to come.
You can ask yourself "Hey what have I done?"
You're just a fly, the little guys, they kill for fun.
Man you're fucked if you just freeze up
Can't do that thing that keepin' still
But you're fucked if you speak your mind
And you know, uh huh, you will
Yeah you're fucked all right and all for spite
You can kiss your sorry ass goodbye
Totally fucked, will they mess you up?
Well you know they're gonna try.

For those of you bugging out about the Secured Transactions/Real Property question, the property portion was probably there just because the question involved fixtures. However, the relevancy of fixtures was within the secured transactions issues, and their definition was provided in the question. I don't think there was some separate property issue that literally everyone overlooked and are still overlooking now.

Tonight, I will put two bowls filled with water in front of my dog. The one of the left will represent an October release and the one on the right will represent a November release. I will let you guys know what he chooses.
