Not sure how relevant this is but there is a "New Announcement" on the NJ Bar homepage that says Applications are now open for the Feburary exam. They posted this message today.

Maybe this means results will be released today?

That announcement was posted 9/18. Stop freaking everyone out. Look they couldn't get the results out Friday and tomorrow is a holiday. You really think they worked all weekend grading? Plus how many government employees do you think took a 5 day weekend. Hang on to your pants.

Probably safe bet to think we won't hear anything until Friday 11/6 at the earliest.

Probably. But 2 out of the last 3 release dates were Mondays. I still have hope for 4-5 today.

Yes, because the October 30th deadline has come and passed and now the new registration period is open at a higher price. The application registration has been open for a long time, that is just an updated message with the higher application fee. How in the world could that be indicative of them releasing bar exam results?

Its related because if you didn't pass--you can sign up for the Feburary exam.

?? Still don't get it. You can sign up for the exam until November 30th. These are predetermined deadlines that have not changed.

As has been said many times in this thread, previous exam takers who fail have 30 days from the release of results to sign up for the next exam, regardless of the predetermined deadlines.

To sit for the New Jersey bar examination, candidates must:
1. be at least 18 years of age,
2. have earned a Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school, and
3. be in good standing in all jurisdictions to which they have been admitted.

Go to the application forms tab then click apply. Should say "Are you sure you want to apply to February 2016 exam?"

I just tried. I can't get past the question that asks if I failed the bar or not because I don't know obviously.

Maybe because we haven't received our results yet? Why are you signing up already?

Someone asked if he was the only one unable to sign up, so I tried. I don't think this means a thing.

For me, I attempted to register for the Feb bar, and answered the 4 questions they asked. I just assumed "Yes" to the question "did you fail the immediately preceding examination", and attempted to register.

I got this response: "The application is not currently available"

I failed PA. I remember that there were people who tried to apply to the Feb exam before results came out. Some were listed as a "reapplicant", others received error messages.

Is anyone able to answer the 4 questions and not have the website say the application is not available?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
