Yea, I noticed that too. That's a pretty big drop. Of course, it is perhaps to be expected.SportsFan wrote:Well looks like overall was 71%, jeez. 78% first time. Down from 75%/83% last year.WaitingTooLong wrote:Over under on the pass rate this year?

3rd time pass rate increased and 4th time pass rate doubled. I hope a lot of 4th time takers are feeling pretty ecstatic right now.

Passed, but I originally went to the pdf and it took a few seconds to realize it was from 2/15.

The results date should be made clearer.JonnyBart wrote:Passed, but I originally went to the pdf and it took a few seconds to realize it was from 2/15.
We should sue the bar.

I always carry a handkerchief with me. If I had been near while you cried the night of the MBE, I would have dried your eyes.

Any ideas as to how long it will take to receive our score breakdown in the mail?

Do we get a score breakdown? I thought we didn't. Not even an MBE score.Kage3212 wrote:Any ideas as to how long it will take to receive our score breakdown in the mail?

I have asked previous friends about this, and they confirmed that they did indeed receive a score breakdown in the mailing. They could not recall how long it took for the mailing to arrive though, which is why I figured I would ask here. So plan to receive your breakdown in that mailing.WaitingTooLong wrote:Do we get a score breakdown? I thought we didn't. If they were mailed Friday, I'd expect most people living in big cities will have them Tuesday or Wednesday. Probably by the end of the week for people in smaller towns and rural areas.chestnutbrowncanary wrote:"Results for the bar examination were released on Friday, October 9, 2015. Got it. I passed PA and figured that finding out my MBE score might provide some insight as to whether I likely passed NJ as well. Any idea when NJ plans to release their scores?

Re: PA Bar Wait Group
When trying to figure out when you'll get your scores remember that they likely all got mailed from Harrisburg.
In about a month. I thought NJ was easier than PA fwiw, but I think a particular MBE score will tell a lot in terms of likelihood of passing.Kage3212 wrote:Got it. Re: PA Bar Wait Group
Not yet, but I'm out of the state so I doubt I'll get mine before anybody else. I'm really curious too because -- in my anxiousness during our day 1 lunch break and night -- I went through every topic with my friend and self-graded my made up rubric on how I thought it would turn out. I needed to see an objective evaluation to calm my nerves for day 2. It also served as a way to say "here's the worst that can happen." Considering the scores have now been released alongside the essay topics being released (and the fact that I made all of the scoring and topics up -- which still might be wrong) I think this is fine to post now.Lacepiece23 wrote:Ayone get their packets yet?
Here is what my rubric looked like: http://imgur.com/JO9qK7n
I wonder how it will compare.

I haven't yet (live in philly). Whenever the first people receive their scores, it would be helpful to post the city/area you live in.Lacepiece23 wrote:Ayone get their packets yet?

Update- results arrived- my building called to say that the mailman was concerned about squishing an envelope into my mailbox in case it was important. Since I live a block from where I worked I stopped there on my way back to the office from picking up lunch.lawgrl21 wrote:I haven't yet (live in philly). Ummm... I never received any inquiries from c & f so mine didn't say anything about it. It had a certificate recommending admission to the bar which I think is essentially a stamp that you passed the exam and passed c & f. Interestingly, I took the bar last summer in a different jurisdiction & my MBE score this year was 1 point different from last summer.LSATclincher wrote:Are the character results in there, as well?lawgrl21 wrote:Update- results arrived- my building called to say that the mailman was concerned about squishing an envelope into my mailbox in case it was important. Re: PA Bar Wait Group
Got my packet in Philadelphia. So relieved to finally see the certificate. I was very, very slightly worried about C+F due to the combo of a few minor things.
Also interesting to see my MBE and essay scores. Ended up with 152 MBE, 138 essay for a total of 288. Thought it would be reverse that, to be honest. No idea how I got 150+ on the MBE. Even the Barbri midterm, I think I got a 108 raw. I've always been a naturally good test taker (did better on the actual LSAT than I ever had on a practice test) so I guess that helped. And on the essays, the one essay I thought I absolutely crushed (#1) ended up being my 2nd lowest score. Bizarre.
