Wait and see, tonight's the thought but we won't know until they announce lol.
I thought you already know
I can't say either way, lest I want to destroy my career...I was told that I wouldn't have a job or survive C&F if I spoke.
Hockeyman969 (from credible CID): "when will bar results come out"
BOLE: "before mid-November"
Hockeyman969: "GUYS I CANT TELL YOU WHEN THEYRE COMING IT WILL DESTROY MY CAREER I WAS THREATENED"
Go to hell. I have more info than you know. Sorry you don't work for a judge where this stuff is relevant and your Judge doesn't sit on committees that evaluate how fucked up NY is compared to other states. Just as bad as Mlk&Ckies. You're just jealous.
Dude I'm not saying you do or you don't but you expected people to be awed by your ability to use your CID to get information and then sit here every night in uncertainty with the rest of us, -and to make it worse you can't even recognize why your behavior might piss some ppl off. No one is jealous of your job. Get over yourself.

Hey guys, I would stop making fun of him if you know what's good for you. I heard from a reliable source that he knows a state judge.

I'm just a rebel. An unbarred, presumably unemployed, law grad with nothing to lose. I laugh in the face of Internet danger
I'm an unemployed stay at home dad who roleplays as a Biglaw drone because I don't even have the self-esteem to roleplay as someone important like a guy who knows a judge

Everyone shut the hell up! The JUDGE hockeyman969 works for may find your lack of faith to his padawan's information disturbing. The force is strong with this one.

Dunno why, but I just get the feeling that it won't be tonight. I hope I'm wrong though, I just want the waiting to end.

I think it's fair to say no one knows what's going on. This whole thing has been so ridiculous, I'm starting to doubt whether results will come at midnight at all. Or 5pm. Apparently BOLE is having fun fucking with us, so watch it be something like 9am next Tuesday

I think the worst part is we can't even get a set date from them. Wtf are they doing at HQ?

When my aunt took the bar exam in the 1970s, they board of law examiners tried a new system of grading the exams the year she took it. Her July bar exam results didn't come until MARCH. People took the February bar exam just in case they didn't pass the July exam. We don't have it that bad.

That blows. You're right, we don't have it that bad, but just because another situation sucks more doesn't mean a situation doesn't still suck.

Man, I'd be pissed if I walked uphill both ways barefoot in the snow to hand write a bar exam that I ultimately never had to take.

Me: "Do you know when they will be released?"
Woman: "Yes, we uhh, we were just told, by early November"
Me: "So definitely not this week?"
Woman: "That's right"

I was talking to an attorney who took the exam in I think 2001, and she said you would look up your name in the NY Law Journal which was published in print so she waited around at 4am near a newstand that had it the day results were coming and went through the list and her name wasn't on it, meaning she had failed. She goes to file all the paperwork needed to retake the test, gets everything in order and 2-3 weeks later she gets a letter in the mail saying they had made a mistake on something like 50 or so tests and she had actually passed.

So yeah, this sucks for you guys, but at least the technology allows for it to be released in a more reasonable fashion.

I would take that with a grain of salt.

I am so over staying up until 12:30 and waking up at 6:30. End this misery

every time someone calls, they have another reason to laugh at our pain

Stop doing that, unless your job requires it.

The job only requires the waking up part. BOLE is responsible for staying up. My mind won't shut off knowing the results could be released at any time.

Nothing will change if you get them at 12:30 vs the next morning. Get some sleep, stop driving yourself insane. You'll know when you know.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
