Yet another issue I missed. All stuff I knew but didn't put on the paper (screen?).

Whatever. Not feeling too great about this exam as a whole, but I won't know for sure until the end of November.

I promise you you're fine. I mentioned it in passing in one sentence.

Yeah it was basically a zero sum game; you only had enough time to talk about some stuff. I spent a lot of time on derivative stuff, other ppl didn't. Other ppl spent a lot of time on stuff I didn't talk about. We're all gonna be fine.

It's fine dude I didn't even talk about variance or nonconforming use or zoning in general in 2014F but who cares about me just try not to stress over that because you'll be doing that for the next 4 months I guarantee it

You'll be thinking about this every day at least before you sleep in August and November, occasionally in Sept and Oct

You'll plug in hypothetical scores (conservative, mid, generous) into the score calculator at one-timers.com to estimate a range of possible scores

You'll be overcome with anxiety the day of results, as you jackhammer the F5 button and the red countdown timer ticks down

Can somebody tell me, though, what kind of score you might expect to get on an essay where you knew absolutely nothing about the subject - who knows if you actually hit any relevant issues. You essentially made up all the law and completely bullshitted. And you didn't write all that much either although you attempted to at least address all the questions (with your made up law).

I'm trying to gauge how badly this essay will hurt me.

I'd assume a 50-55 if you were sure about literally zero issues but you still made a good effort to try to bullshit your way that at least sounds in the realm of the subject.

Variance, nonconforming use, zoning.... Barbri legit never taught this and I never learned it in school. Educational malpractice or just shit for luck?

Looking back, it was in the CMR. But every administration has a couple of WTF essays/issues. Seems like you guys' essay 6 was ass

For which subject?

Corporations. I don't know anything about the subject. It's my fault, I should have done more in terms of prepping for that subject, but I didn't.

So anyway. The fact that there were a million and one issues to spot, and I'm not sure I hit any of them, is making me worried that it's gonna hurt me more than your typical bs essay.

Even the PR stuff I went blank on, because I just wasn't really sure how any of the PR rules applied in a corporations context.

Essentially I just wrote about how people acted shady and that was bad. So I'm pretty sure I'm screwed.

Thanks for the info. I'm just praying that I don't get below a 50 on it. And that somehow I got enough points in other areas to make up for it.

But I've pretty much accepted that I failed because it's not like I think I knocked the MBE out of the park or something (quite the contrary).

At the least, hopefully I am making you all who are worried about missing a couple issues here or there on the corps essay feel better.

I completely missed that the H guy in the corps essay was a lawyer.....talk about fml....fml

how much for missing an entire section because of that?!

Didn't know what to do with par value. Didn't talk about disgorgement. Did talk about personal vs derivative actions. Did talk about remedies.

Also have written essays that hit on every single issue, that got a 55.
