At least we can all feel like CRAZY PEOPLE together... SMDH at BOLE.
They have gone into November some years, which would be torture. If they straight up gave a date like November 4, no one would be going crazy...maybe griping. Hell give a date and go early, just manage peoples' expectations and don't make us hold vigil like those outside the sistine chapel waiting for the white smoke. At least give us some black smoke as indication if you're going to do it this way.
The craziest thing to me is that my friend who sat for the California bar knows exactly the DAY and the TIME it will be released. WHY NYS GOTTA BE SO SNEAKY LIKE THIS?!
Can you even imagine the people who sat around and MADE this decision to NOT pick a date and time??? "WELL, IDK SOME DAY IN OCTOBER... MAYBE NOVEMBER.... THEY CAN LEGIT TRY TO GUESS. LOL!!!"
Classic BOLE committee member this time of year lol.

Seriously, though, I can't make myself go to sleep before midnight. And, at the same time, I have to wake up at 6:30 each morning so that I get in before the judge. You are messing with my sleep and my sanity, BOLE. Why must they tease us? Ohio has an exact time and date too. Just put us out of our misery D:

Between 12AM and 5AM has been the norm. 5PM shocked some folks back with Feb 2015 results.

For those of you waiting........cheer up, it'll be over soon. Last year, they came out at midnight, Oct 27th/28tht, Eastern Time.
This was preceded about an hour by an article in ATL.....not sure if they'll repeat that this year.
Good Luck

Why must they be so secretive, even enlisting hockeyman to hide the ball from us?

Yes, she said she was so taken aback by the reaction to the survey that she convinced BOLE to delay the results until the possible failers submit their responses.

I've had a feeling tonight was the night for some time. I guess we will soon find out. Perhaps it's telling that today is the first day in at least a few days that we haven't seen a fire drill.
It's interesting to look back on the natural progression of this thread, from discussions about graduation to bar preparation to complaints about the ridiculous expectations of the bar prep companies. Now, here we are at the end of October with the finish line in sight. We are almost certainly mere days--and perhaps just a couple of hours--away from our results. But there's really no reason to be worried. Most of the posters in this thread undoubtedly passed the exam. For those that didn't, hopefully this experience taught you that this exam is beatable. Even if you didn't pass, take comfort in the confident belief that you will pass next time, and know that this entire process will one day be a distant memory in the mind of you, an accomplished (and tenacious) attorney.

Last year, they updated the night before the results came out that they were coming out the following day. The year before that, though, they didn't. So who knows.

Let's see how many "guests" this page attracts in the next 20 mins. Last night it was 450.
