do the pq sets for property (or any subject for that matter) get harder down the line? for example is pq set 1 easier than pq set 5?

From what I was told during the course when I took it, pq1 is meant to be easier than the rest, but no noticeable difference between the others. You can, of course, glance at question by question stats and judge for yourself. I remember there were enough 'hard' questions where less than 10% of students got them right in PQ1.

Are they at all similar to real MBE questions? Or is it kinda necessary to get Adaptibar or something

Every time I hear Sherman Clark speak, I want to throw my laptop. How does he make each video take so long? Why does he hate us all, so much?

1.5 speed. It's almost normal talking speed.

And 2x speed if you do his mini review lectures. I also found him really frustrating. He lectures as if he is coming up with the law and examples off the top of his head

Currently have him at 2.1 speed...

Exactly, and then he proceeds to explain the examples over and over again - often making things more confusing.

All the other lecturers are much better, so he stands out for being particularly annoying. Plus, evidence is boring enough as it is.

I'm only on Torts right now with him. I'm really excited for Evidence now. YAYYYYYY

I had him for Torts in school. His fact patterns mostly involved baseball. Did not learn much.

Torts is a piece of cake but make sure you watch the lecturer at at least 2x.

Civ pro questions from Themis are all out of whack in my opinion...they don't have much of a past reference to accurately set the difficulty because it's a newer topic.

I'm guessing generally no based on this quote: "Note also that you may encounter some questions that you previously answered incorrectly in an MBE PQ set completed via Directed or Flex Study. If you answer the same MBE question twice, your most recent response will be reflected in the MBE Progress details."

As long as they're not duplicatesI might have to start using it. Don't really want to pay for Adaptibar.

I've been doing a few extra quiz builder sets of 30 (across Prop, Ks, and Torts)...I'd say about 5% were repeats from the subject-specific PQs. Now I'm seeing a few more repeats but nothing egregious imo.

One of the property MBE practice questions had this disclaimer after the explanation: "The foregoing NCBE MBE question has been modified to reflect current NCBE stylistic approaches; the NCBE has not reviewed or endorsed this modification."

So are some of the questions actual licensed MBE questions, and some just made up by Themis? Is there any way to tell the difference?
