So, Contracts Set 1. The question where the manufacturer is preparing to ship to a wholesaler and then the wholesaler cancels. How does he have incidental damages if he went and sold the goods the very next day and still had to ship them? He began processing paperwork and preparing chairs for shipment, and then he had to ship the chairs anyway, so what incidental damages could he possibly have? The question isn't "what type of damages can he recover," but "how much should he recover?" I get that he is allowed to recover incidental damages in this case, but how can he have damages for something he had to do for the second shipment anyway?

Ha. When I was doing the question I was thinking to myself, "well he already has the items packed, incidental damages for printing a new shipping label?" Suffice it to say, I got it wrong.

Can someone clarify - is a 3 on an essay "bad"? I mean I know barbri says it's "below passing" but from Seperac it seems you can technically still pass with straight 3s and a high MBE, yes?

Been following this thread but I'm a bit behind. I'm UBE but not NY. Do all UBE BarBri states follow the same schedule? My schedule for July 18 has ConLaw Diagnostic, MEE CivPro Essay #1, and MPQ CivPro Set 1. Same for you NY guys?

Yeah the evidence sets seem harder than anything so far. It seems like bullshit that target score for set 4 is 11 correct at this point.

So I'm not in BarBri, but I'm trying to get a sense of whether other courses tend to have inconsistencies and inaccuracies in their lectures and outlines, and then also some questions that are flawed or end up having the wrong answer, b/c the bar prep questions writers screw up here and there. Mm, I don't really think I've seen any inaccuracies. Maybe some typos here and there or something that is questionably worded, but I haven't seen any actual legal inconsistencies. I think my biggest issue is with Barbri is being tested too much on tiny nuances and not enough on the big picture questions.

There are inconsistencies and incorrect infomation is listed sometimes. If you see something, write barbri, they will confirm if it is incorrect and issue a a full correction.

buy critical pass cards... its da shit. It's like going through a condensed CMR and you can review the whole subject in less than hour. It's not a substitute but once you've gone the CMR a few times I think its enough to keep me going without forgetting the material.

I'm starting to think the real MBE is more like barbri's workshops... then barbri moves on to test more subtle distinctions. What do you guys think?

I find the workshops to be similar in difficulty to S&T questions.
