No way that was straightforward. Only straightforward thing on the exam was civ pro. Contracts was okay. Evidence/crim was wtf are we supposed to talk about here. LLC????????? Torts was not the easiest of tort topics.ballouttacontrol wrote:
also, wish I did that stupid LLC question last. (and according to effecientbarprep, A&P was their lowest chance of showing up topic lol)
That was like the one question topic I reviewed probably the least. Ran out of time on the secured transaction question which was so straight forward

well, there were some off the wall rules, but at least the question prompts were the standard secured transaction prompts-that's what I meant by straight forward. Who has priority, etc. Even if you don't know what a construction mortgage is you can still mechanically run through the priority rules and just make something up for the construction mortgage.rivermaker wrote:No way that was straightforward. I mean. This is how they can get a curve. Lot's of odd ball rules that some people will remember and some won't. Most of us likely got the general rule for each topic, but clearly couldn't remember every exception on the topic. They'd remember one question's nuanced exception but not the other.
I'm just telling myself it all somehow evens out.
I'm getting nervous about the MPT now that I haven't done one in a while.

Please delete if too specific, Mods, but getting mixed reactions from classmates.
On that hearsay one, we weren't expected to talk about crim pro at all right, because it wasn't a suppression hearing? I just don't see how we would have been expected to have the time.

Maybe specific subjects would be too specific. For what it's worth, I went both ways on that, because I (falsely) believed that I had extra time. It just seemed like such a big part of the facts, but maybe it was just a big red herring. At least we don't lose points for off-topic responses.fauxpsych wrote:Please delete if too specific, Mods, but getting mixed reactions from classmates.

Barbri: "Study RAP extensively! Oh yeah, mortgages are kind of a thing."
MBE: "If a mortgagor mortgages a mortgagee's mortgage and the the brother's friend mortgages his mortgages to six other mortgagees, and four people know about the mortgage, but only two know about mortgages and record their mortgage and it's the third Wednesday in January and it's not raining outside after we've gargled with vanilla pudding, who owns the mortgage?"

On the one hand, I'm not at all confident that I passed.
On the other, I'm beyond caring at this moment in time. I'm sure the stress will return in early October.

Because most of the 70% who pass aren't nearly as fanatical/neurotic/mentally ill as the average TLSer.ellewoods123 wrote:I'll only start it if someone volunteers to try to muster up some reasons why I didn't fail

They couldn't even sue TJSL for saying 92% of its grads were "employed."

If you got 70% of the MBE you would have to straight-up not answer essays not to pass.mvp99 wrote:

Does the scantron only pick up #2 pencils? My friend noticed she was using a #3 pencil at the start of the PM session. What the hell is a #3 pencil?!
Anyways - anyone know? She said the circles were lighter than #2 pencils
