Re: 2015 February California Bar Exam
It's raining here.
I did an analysis using time is of the essence and anticipatory repudiation. I think right after I mentioned there are special rules in the UCC between merchants I derailed into common law application.
Civ pro wasn't bad in the way that what you don't know won't hurt you until you find out later. Everything reasonable is discoverable. Was there more lol

required to disclose information reasonably available?
any non-privileged matter that is relevant to a claim or defense of any party, that is likely to lead to discovery of admissible evidence? (but the matter need not be admissible at trial)
what's the difference between those two standards anyway? top is required under FRCP 26, but the bottom is...?

I honestly don't remember the details of anything. Everything is a huge blur - I just remember pieces here and there -- con law, defamation, and apparent authority, injunction, anticipatory repudiation...LawIsPrettyCool wrote:Do you like, not remember anything you wrote? Memory is very important for the bar examL’Étranger wrote:I'm impressed you guys remember what you wrote on the essays.
I remember that I thought my analysis on Q2 deserved a 75. I don't remember the details of why, but I remember looking at that question and thinking "F*** yeah!"
I also remember guessing a (14?) day deadline for the civ pro question, and then later finding out that my guess was correct.

I remember perfectly spewing out the law for the remedies & property questions based on my mnemonics tricks.
I also remember mnemonics being my downfall - I remember when writing about damages under Q1, I forgot what the second C of FUCC! stood for! (foreseeable, unavoidable, consequential, certain) I forgot it stood for certain!
I remember writing a bunch of complete equitable bs on the civ pro question because I had so much spare time - might have been my downfall.

I remember being confused for Wills and noting that I am getting a 55 on this question.
I remember frantically typing in headings and subsections for PTB, and thinking I am getting a 55 on this PT.

Re: 2015 February California Bar Exam
I don't really remember what I wrote at this point either. I have vague recollections of the questions, and maybe I would remember better if I sat down and watched the bar guru videos, but I'm not going to do that for the sake of not freaking myself out. And for the sake of not wasting a bunch of time. They're long.
After I wrote the essays, I tried my best to put them out of my mind. After several months now, I really couldn't tell you much of what I wrote. I'm a take the exam and forget it kind of person. I was that way in law school, too. I HATED all the post-exam analysis, and avoided it like the plague. Shrug. Different people deal with the stress of big exams in different ways.
But, that being said, all you people who rehash them over and over are crazy.

Ya, that's pretty harsh. That's not honesty, it's a f***** up opinion by an a** hole of a person.LawIsPrettyCool wrote:No offense but I sense you will fails1m4 wrote:I honestly don't remember the details of anything. Lawiscool,
Thanks for being a dick - I'll be sure to have a drink to celebrate your guaranteed success tomorrow.
I renewed my baressays account - I figure I would renew it if Im going to study anyway, so might as well, and if I happen to pass $120 is a mere drop in the bucket long term.
