That's a mere indication. Grading is more of a substantive work than administrative, so I guess admin staff may have ample time in their hands to make spelling corrections. Once the graders get the list ready, uploading shouldn't be too time consuming. Still the only thing suggesting a release today is the pattern of the past two years (and again a two-time re-occurrence of the same event hardly suggests the existence of a pattern).
There only day BOLE hasn't released on for July in the last 10 years is a Monday. For July releases there have also been 2 years with Friday release date. So we know they could shoot scores out on T/W/R/F only 10 year pattern we have.

They come out shortly after midnight so technically it's Tuesday. If you look last year, they came out at like 12:07 AM Tuesday morning. I am confident it's tonight.

Not that this would be a healthy way to spend your night but it does seem that BOLE results were posted to homepages prior to an email being sent out (albeit by maybe 15 minutes)... I would guess the same occurs for bar results.

An attorney with very very strong connections with the bar (and not named Angie) just walked into my office and had the following exchange with me:
Her: So when do you find out your score?
Me: Nobody knows. Your guess is as good as mine.
Her: It's tomorrow. And that's not a guess. But I didn't tell you that. Might want to stay up a little later than usual tonight.
Extremely reliable source.
Good luck all.

I doubt it will be tomorrow. If October NYLE results just came, it will take time to match those results with the bar exam results to certify people to the appellate division. I believe it will be this week after they have had time to link the bar exam and NYLE results. Seems like a lot to do in one day. Thoughts?

I have no opinion on whether it will be tomorrow, but I don't think the NYLE scores are relevant.lawyer2000 wrote:I doubt it will be tomorrow. What about results for people who haven't taken the NYLE yet? What about results for people who haven't taken the MPRE yet?

Re: NY July 2016 Thread
I don't think there's a relevance between the two because many (myself included) have not yet taken the NYLE, so there's no matching to be made there yet. Moreover, I don't see why the NYLE and Bar Results need to be matched prior to the release of the Bar results. This can take place afterwards.lawyer2000 wrote:I doubt it will be tomorrow. And none of it matters because you can't even submit your C&F until you get your score. We won't be certified for a while even if we do pass.aresdude wrote:This analysis seems off to me.lawyer2000 wrote:I doubt it will be tomorrow. Re: NY July 2016 Thread
It is my understanding that they send results in an email with a letter attached certifying you if you completed the nyle and mpre. It would make sense that they would want to send certification letters to this most recent round ofnyle passers. No?

I have already sent in my C&F stuff. You can send it in before receiving your results, which they made explicitly clear in the letter they sent to applicants for the Third Department, at least.

You get certified for admission by BOLE to the Appellate division when you have a trifecta of
1) 266 or higher on UBE
2) MPRE score of 86 or higher and
3) Passing NYLE score
I don't think the NYLE would effect it that much because it's all automated. Examsoft runs the multiple choice, unfair questionable questions knocked out, response by examsoft. I would suspect Examsoft even uploads scores to BOLE server. I don't think it's dependent on that at all, the theory of NY waiting on MPRE has been debunked in the past too.
I have to wait to send my stuff as I am certified to the first department.

The passing score in New York for the MPRE is actually 85, not 86.hockeyman969 wrote:MrT wrote:And none of it matters because you can't even submit your C&F until you get your score. Re: NY July 2016 Thread
Ladies and Gents, no work needs to be done to match NYLE results to our BOLE ID. We took the NYLE literally in our BOLE accounts. The recent release of the NYLE results, therefore, will not hold up Bar results pending a NYLE-BOLE matching.

Good call, you're right. I am not too concerned because my situation doesn't require my certification any time soon. Good luck everyone.chicagolawyer1 wrote:I have already sent in my C&F stuff. Re: NY July 2016 Thread
I'm surprised by people who aren't anxious to get sworn in. I'm a judicial law clerk for the next two years, and thus don't NEED to be certified. But just for my personal pride, I'd like to call myself an attorney and be done with this junk!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
