Same. Presumably any questions would come by snail mail, right? There's no accessible web-portal or anything like some other states have?

Don't think there's any web portal. I looked at an email from earlier in the summer (pre-bar) and it said you won't receive further correspondence unless additional info is needed. My slate is pretty clean, minus a couple traffic tickets, but now I'm curious as to whether any of my references have been contacted.

PS -- this month is going to SUCK.

For those of you worried or curious about C&F:

In September, all of my references told me they had not been contacted. I was worried that something was holding up my CF investigation, or that my CF had been denied (post bar exam anxiety aka completely unfounded fear, given I don't even have any traffic tickets). Anyway, I sent a letter to the person handling my CF asking for an update regarding my investigation and she called me. She told me my CF had been approved way back at the beginning of July and that they don't always contact references unless they see need to because of something you put on your application. She also told me they will contact you if there is any additional information needed. So, probably no reason to worry!

Oh, and one of my friends was contacted for a follow up regarding something on his CF by e-mail, not mail.

Anyone want to take a stab at what VA pass rate will be this year? My guess is 64.3 percent. The national mbe scaled score was 139.9 which is (really really) low. In February of 2011 the national MBE mean scaled score was 138.6 and the VA pass rate was 60.71%. In 2004 the July MBE was 141.2 and in 2014 it was 141.47. In both of those years, the VA pass rate was 68%.

Soooooo... I was thinking we have to be somewhere between 60.71% and 68.00% but maybe I'm totally wrong.

I am curious as to why the release date is so late this year. From my understanding, last year it was around October 14th or 15th.

But the year before that it was equally late. Also, assuming the chart that anon found is accurate, it means the results have never been released meaningfully early, so no reason to get your hopes up.

Yeah I can't figure out why the release date seems to jump two weeks (from like the 14thish to the 30thish) every couple of years? I can't imagine there are that many more or less test takers every year.

But i guess we just have to assume we will get it on the 30th, 29th if we are lucky.

They also post online a list of people who passed. I think this is usually timed so that everyone would have received their snail mail results before the site goes live.

"The Virginia Board of Bar Examiners will be mailing the results of the July 2015 bar exam on October 30, 2015."

I looked at the threads for previous years, the online post seems to be where everyone got the news.
