I don't want to ask my friend because I know she's already stressing (NY has not released results yet this week), but I'd like to make sure I'm available for her no matter the outcome. Should I expect them soon and stay up? Should I set my alarm for an early wake-up? Or will they be out during the afternoon or later?
I'm about 1,000% sure Massachusetts will not be posting anything online this weekend. If she lives in MA, near Boston-ish, she should get them in the mail today.
I don't think they've ever posted anything on a weekend given the court is closed.

The NCBE finally released Indiana scores today. My scaled score was a 154. This means I performed close to or a little better than my average on test day. (I was in the 65-70% range using Barbri materials).

Neidermeyer,
How did you receive your score in Indiana? Website, mail, etc.,?

I paid for the service through
http://www.ncbex.com It was $25 and I did it because I was curious how I performed. You can then check the score on your dashboard.

Well at least you have the Red Wings--my team was eliminated Saturday and I don't have hockey distraction anymore.

I'm not "optimistic" I passed, but hearing people's scaled scores vs. their final Barbi or Kaplan scores gives me some comfort. I left the MBE and felt completely owned but got 70% on two different MBE finals. Everyone else's scores seems to be fairly in line. I wasn't nervous for the MBE. I felt surprisingly good after the essays, which were my main concern. But when I left, all I could think about was the (bunch) I am pretty certain I got wrong, and some that I know that I did. Most seemed a complete coin toss to me. For several days after the test I feel doomed and destined to failure and couldn't think straight. Now it's more "I could see it going either way." If I bombed the MBE, I would have had to have really tanked on the actual test day. But who knows, I could have bombed the essays. I just don't know.
Did anyone see a huge variance between their performance on their Kaplan or Barbri finals and actual scaled scores? I was super pissed when I left the real deal because the questions seemed so different from the simulated finals and Qbank.

I failed the MPRE by 2pts. Completely drunk right now. Not opening the results today.
Not today, New York.

passed NY! In disbelief. 150.4 MBE....higher than when I passed MD which I REALLY can't believe because I thought this MBE was much harder.
Sorry for everyone hearing bad news, best of luck to those still waiting!

I know *a lot* of people who failed the MPRE the first time they took it so don't feel too down. You'll get it next time.

I failed the MPRE the first time as a 2L due to not really studying and just assuming my ethics class was going to put me over the top.
I got a 67.
The second time around I over-studied for a month to make sure that wouldn't happen again and got a 113.

When I took the mpre I barely passed, i.e. 86, but have passed both the California and NY bars on the first time. Don't let that get you down, I actually found the mpre unnecessarily difficult and tricky.

yeah, samsies. I think I got an 80 the first time with almost no studying. After studying PR for the MD (and passing) and finishing my PR class in law school, I studied about a week on top of that and scored a 111 the second time around. I'm pretty sure that still equates to getting a lot of questions wrong. My point is, super possible to pass the bar and fail the MPRE.
