Re: NY July 2016 Thread
I fully expect results this upcoming week because a very reliable source (judge) told me on Friday, "good luck next week!" So I anticipate either Tuesday or Wednesday around midnight.
By the way, I am not a "Top-Law-Schools" troll. Might be one occasionally on Instagram, but definitely not here. There's no fun in that. I wouldn't waste time posting if I didn't believe this to be truthful. With that said, good luck everyone!

I didn't even check results online. I waited for the letter, and then almost had a heart attack when I found out I passed.

I'm assuming I failed rn especially As it gets closer and closer. I like your strategy but my i don't want my boss to know from other sources (list online). Ugh so hard sorry for being the Debbie downer.rcharter1978 wrote:I had assumed I failed and it made waiting much, much easier.QuasiINrem wrote:Blissful ignorance is harder and harder to enjoy. Re: NY July 2016 Thread
^^yeah, I don't think I had your pressures. I just basically told friends and family not to bother me and not to expect to see me again until after I took the next exam.
I was sincerely convinced I didn't pass so I already had plans in place and was actually starting to study when results came in. Having a contingency plan for failure brought my nerves down.
The very, very, very worst case scenario if you fail is that you lose your job. Sucks, but you'll focus on studying and finding a better job. Most likely scenario if you fail is you feel embarrassed in front of your boss who is pitying you. Sucks, but so what, you'll be ready to pass next time.
Those are the very worst things that can happen from what I gather. And no situation is really that awful.
Either way, good luck. You're not a Debbie downer, but pass or fail...life will go on, and in a few years you won't even remember it. A SCOTUS justice failed the bar, and he went onto the supreme court! Failing the bar sucks, but it doesn't mean much in the wider scheme of things.

Seven SCOTUS justices joined Plessy v. Ferguson, so maybe that's not the bar to which we should aspire.rcharter1978 wrote:^^yeah, I don't think I had your pressures. I just basically told friends and family not to bother me and not to expect to see me again until after I took the next exam.
