Have u guys submitted anything related to bar admission beyond the school certificate? i havent

Not a thing. What is the school certificate? As a judicial law clerk I have 18 months from August 2016 to be sworn in so no rush for me.

Didn't submit anything yet. Just waiting for one more law employment affidavit. I gave it to him a month ago but he is taking his sweet time

Crap i need to get on that. Have been avoiding doing it out of fear of embarrassment if I failed. Does the app take forever?

Yeah kind of, it took a while to get my NY state driving abstract. I also lived in CT so I had to get one from CT. Then I worked for different employers in the past 10 years. And I had to get 6 law employment affidavits. if I get the the last law employment affidavit tomorrow then that alone has taken 6 months. I'm also a naturalized citizen so I had to find my certificate of natz as Additional docs

But it's not the case that everyone needs to get a driving abstract, right? I didn't see on the application.

I submitted the full packet yesterday. I just knocked out my emails to employers during a weekend and it didn't seem to bad. I was lucky my previous employers were really quick about.

The moral character affidavits don't have to be mailed by the people filling it out in the Second department. I mailed mine with all the other docs.

I'm antsy because I'm in a position (govt agency) where they won't move me to counsels office until admitted

I think actually you're supposed to mail in the character affidavits yourself as part of the application. I'll have to double check, but I don't think they send them in directly.

Correct. "The person completing the affidavit should return it to the applicant, who should file it with and at the same time as his or her application for admission questionnaire."

I'm older than most people here. So it was either all the (legal) job you had from the age of 21 or 10 years ago whichever is shorter

In February of this year, they released it at 5 PM. The last several testing times they have released it at midnightish.
