Just bombed the second milestone after bombing the first. Naturally, I'm starting to freak out so I just bought some Critical Pass flashcards. Hopefully they help me.

Following the course schedule in the pdf and I'm at 47%. Luckily, you've got some time to catch up. If you do like an extra hour a day, you should be fine.

Just remember the course schedule is if you are doing 100% of the whole program. While I'm sure we should aim for 100%, the real target is 75% of the whole course.

In other words, 38% is completely fine with 5+ weeks left.
THANK YOU. I'm shooting for 75%. Lol.

Will hit 46% today. I keep the 75% goal in mind and I feel that is doable.

I think the PQs are harder than the milestones, because they really seem to get into the nitty gritty of exceptions to exceptions to exceptions, whereas the Milestones test general principles and first-level exceptions.

Either way, who the hell knows. I got a 78% on Milestone 2 right after I got a 50ish on a Crim Pro set, so I'm either an idiot savant, or I got lucky.

God damnit, Themis is doing this thing where I can't speed up the videos without it freezing up. If I have to watch Jeffries do civ pro at anything less than 2x, I'm going out the window.

Honestly, I like the instant feedback from doing the PQs, and maybe that helps my score? Honestly, with bar prep, I don't even know what to think anymore.

Videos have been awful today. Starting/stopping even when loaded, and otherwise failing to buffer. Can't even watch properly on 1x speed. Seems like I'm not the only one having this issue.

Contacted Themis last night at 10:30pm. They took my info but I'm not sure what that has to do with tech support. Either way, given that you're complaining about it, I guess that my email and phone call to them yesterday has done no good.

They chalked it up to a Verizon issue but that's impossible since my internet is working fine with EVERYTHING else.

I have the opposite experience. I'm just over half way done with the course, and my average PQ percentage across all subjects is 69%, and on both milestones I scored about 15% below my PQ average. I honestly have no fucking idea how its possible other than a few questions where I felt like Themis included some deceptively worded questions in Milestone 2

On another note, I am suffering from a ridiculous bout of fatigue. My brain hurts while reading these K MQs.

Just called the NY director and told her the videos aren't working and it must be on their end because everyone's having the same problem. She said she's going to contact the tech dept. now.

Did anyone else learn in law school that you can't adversely possess land of another if neither the possessor nor true owner know that the possession is adverse? Like, I thought the hostility requirement meant that at least someone had to know. I just missed a question where adverse possession had occurred, but literally no one in the fact pattern knew about it. Fuck me, I guess

There's a split on that issue. Majority rule is that knowledge/mindset of the adverse possessor doesn't matter. True owner never has to know, it's an objective test.

I think it's stupid that statements made after arrest without Miranda warnings can be admitted if they weren't made during interrogation. And I think it's stupid that I just missed the question on this issue

Silly you, thinking the defendant ever wins in crim pro.

And yeah, video issues here too.

they're really pissing me off with this BS about verizon issues. Somehow Netflix and every other streaming service is working just fine.

Yeah that's horseshit. I downloaded a huge update to a game on xbone w/o issue. I actually left and let a video fully buffer, and it's still having playback issues. Not really sure how that would be on the ISP.

maybe netflix plays around with the routing with VPNs and stuff. but it's not just netflix, amazon and any other site i try is fine. If there's a routing trick it must be pretty simple and themis has got to get on that. I'm starting to question my going with the low budget option.

Exactly. It makes no sense. Like I said yesterday, there's a good chance the issue stems from the fact that many students are now watching these videos and the server is overloaded.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
