I'm in the exact same boat. As soon as I think it may be OK, panic and worry begins to set in. The anticipation for the results is worse than taking the actual test!

how are they going to announce results first - will we get an email before the press release with all the names is out?

They just toss them up on the website. Last year, they had them up at exactly at 4 p.m. Good luck to everyone.

I find myself trying to find secret URLs that may have the press release on them so I can just know and get it over with.

The MBE was so awful I just don't feel good. How many can you actually get wrong and still pass? I did awful on MBE related stuff all along. I am so paranoid. I can't re-take this or tell people I failed.

I'm leaving work early today. I'm not too concerned right now, but I rather be away from the legal setting when I find out the results. I haven't told any of my co-workers about today's release date.

Yeah. I keep inserting "july" in the links as if I have any coding experience whatsoever (I don't) but I need to just relax... which I am incapable of doing.

I'm a mess. My mind is restless, and I can't function.

My biggest failure was likely in the essays. I just didn't manage my time well enough and I also missed a few rules/issues. However I did write down all of the essay topics right after the exam and self-graded by memory and guessing. I'm gonna end up comparing my self-graded score card to my real one once it's released. Hopefully I did at least as well as my self-grade (which gave me an average of 13.3 points per essay).

But here's to praying...

Guys let's get some perspective up in here.

Affirmations:
I might fail.
If I fail, it is not a reflection of my intelligence.
If I fail, I will have a foundation upon which to study for February. It won't be like starting from scratch.
If I fail, I'll at least know what to expect on test day. It won't be the unknown torture it was in July.
If I fail, my friends and family will surround me with warm support and empower me to work hard again.
If I fail, I'm going to ignore the fuck out of everyone celebrating and focus on my own self-care.
If I fail, I am going to do things that make me happy this weekend and re-evaluate come Monday or next Monday.
If I fail, this is just one aspect of my life in which I will have to try again. There are so many other aspects of my life that I am already successful in.
If I fail, I will not be an psychological victim to this weird hazing ritual. It will be a small misstep in an ultimately long and rewarding career.

If I fail, I vow to be kind to myself.

One of my friends who I used to study with all the time found out last night (through connections) that she failed.

I'm screwed.

I mean, not well, but none of us felt well after MBE day.

I should just assume I'll be back at it in February and move on

Sending compassion her way. I'm sure it was just a series of flukes.

can anyone think of a compelling reason for why they are posted so late in the day, besides hazing?

I was tempted to click the email link and just send "POST THE RESULTS" in huge letters but then wondered if they would conveniently forget to list my name if I did

I assume they don't want a deluge of angry phone calls, and that's why they release them at 4 pm on a Friday of a holiday weekend.

I really wasn't nervous about this wait until today. It's weird. And now I cannot seem to do anything.

So, what have we figured out on where the results are gonna be? What's the URL we go to?

So since I'm completely losing my mind, I just tried to apply for the February exam (deadline is Oct 30) and it wouldn't let me.

SIgn?

Or too early?

Or I need to go get a cocktail and relax? (not an option)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
