I know TLS has a strong Michigan community, so maybe many of you have seen this, but I just stumbled onto the computer generated video of what the new law school building will look like (for those wondering, it is an additional building, not a replacement). Looks like it'll be pretty awesome, completion slated for 2012.

Yeah, they tore out the parking lot that was by the Ford School and are constructing this new building in that spot. It looks like it's going to be very neat (and offer much-needed space for the Law School).

I have had Potbelly's once (on Michigan State's campus ironically enough) and will probably never have it again...unless its free of course

Having done my undergrad at Michigan, I can confidently say that, yes, the weather in the video is hysterical.

They handed out free tshirts with the logo yesterday. Yay! Those of us graduating get something out of the construction nonsense.

Anyway... I don't exactly know whose head that is supposed to be, the basic gargoyle thing is a take on the real football player gargoyle that's kind of hidden up under one of the archways out on the quad. But they are using a construction hardhat instead of an old-fashioned football helmet.
