Transferring from Widener to American or Richmond?

Post by vhopeful88 » Wed Jul 20, 2016 3:23 pm

Hi all:

A friend of mine has gotten in to transfer from Widener Delaware Law to both University of Richmond Law and American Law....thoughts on which is better? He'd like to be in DC, hoping to do IP Law. Appreciate any insights

If your friend is wanting to be in DC, he would probably be better off at American. Personally, I would go with whichever option is cheaper, as I suspect both schools have very similar employment outcomes.

Richmond's cost of living is way lower than DC and they have an IP Institute that they're trying to start gaining some traction with.

Gorgeous campus; almost took a full-ride there.
