Questions for Fordham Law Graduates
I got admitted to Fordham with a decent (but not full) scholarship so I am considering attending this fall. I have some questions for Fordham Law graduates. Do you have to place in the top percentage of your class in order to get on a journal, moot court, or BigLaw or Public Interest jobs after graduation? Is the general environment competitive? How is the social life; are there social events and do most of the students participate? How is their LRAP program? Is it difficult to find work that is eligible under this program? Do they usually pay you the full amount or decrease it based on your salary?

Re: Questions for Fordham Law Graduates
About 35% of the class of 2015 ended up at firms with 100+ attorneys or at a federal clerkship. (http://www.fordham.edu/info/22555/employment_statistics)
Everybody who did the writing competition (that I know of) ended up on a journal. Not the case for moot court/trial ad, but no gpa requirement to be on the team.
Yes people are competitive and want to do well, but for the most part I really enjoyed my classmates. Occasional annoying gunner here and there. Social life was pretty great (you are in midtown Manhattan). Plenty of bar nights, clubs to join, etc., once a month the school hosts "kegs in the caf", which as it sounds involves kegs in the cafeteria.
