PLI Patent Course Questions

Post by redsxfan2010 » Mon Apr 25, 2016 4:30 pm

Was curious if anyone could offer some insight on the PLI in person classes. Thinking of doing one this summer before starting school and wanted to get an idea of about how much studying I should plan to put in before and after the week of the course in order to feel comfortable with passing the patent bar. I realize everyone is different but just looking for general ballpark feedback.

Obviously if this has already been asked I apologize. Did a bit of searching but came up empty

just do the online course. The lectures aren't that helpful anyways, it's all about the practice exams.

Well my thought was that I would do the in-person class since I live in a city where it will be taught and it coincides with when I will be unemployed after leaving my job for school. Any advice for whether this is a good plan? Or is the in-person really not worth it at all even if it's in the city where you live? Obviously I have no problem doing the online one but figured the in-person would be a great reinforcement of the info.

IDK about in person, but the online lectures were helpful for me. I am still studying but I dont think I could have gotten to where I am without the lectures breaking down the topics. I figured in person would be better if you can afford the time for it. The benefit would be being able to ask questions on the spot. Sometimes I run into problems and need to spend extra time to figure out what the answer is referring to or what the notes are saying.
