For 1L jobs, do firms care about undergrad GPA at all? Forum

I have a pretty trash UGPA but made it into a good school on the back of the LSAT. If im applying for the fabled 1L firm job that i probably wont get, will they ask for my undergrad transcripts?

Firms usually ask for your fall 1L grades. Very rarely will anyone ask for your UGPA.

Weird, almost every firm I applied to wanted my ug transcript.

I say almost because I don't remember if there were any that didn't.

Granted, I was targeting outside my school's geographic reach so I was mass mailing instead of using symplicity

one defender office did, no firms did or any other public interest jobs
