What type of law is right for me?

Post by njwcentlawdreamer » Mon Jan 18, 2016 1:42 am

Hi! I'm an English/ Philosophy minded person who hasnt completed undergrad yet. I love the entertainment industry, but i know doing entertainment/ copyright law is a pipe dream of a job. i'm disabled also. Anything above basic algebra gives me a damn migraine. What kind of law specialty will land me a job in the future, can anyone help a brother out? :?:

You sound more suited for politics to be honest. Have you ever considered running for office?

1. Why do you think you like entertainment law?
2. Being disable, if visible, will make it harder to get a "sexy" job. It shouldn't be this way, but I've seen it happen.

Do you generally prefer working in groups or alone? Do you like flying by the seat of your pants, or do you prefer engaging in long detailed analysis? Do you think you would be interested or board if you had to learn the basics of various industries you currently know nothing about: finance, construction, medicine, etc.? Are you a perfectionist? Where do you want to live? Do you relate to people well - and have a way for quickly making people like and trust you? What kind of disability to you have? And how does it limit you? Do you have any strong moral/political beliefs? If so, what are they?

Nobody is going to be able to tell you what practice area will work for you without knowing the answers to your questions.
