Real estate focus a risky move?
So, my career change is somewhat a product of the real estate collapse. I'm very interested in this particular field, and have many great mentors waiting for me when I graduate. That said, is it crazy to dedicate ones life work to such a volatile industry? Are real estate attorneys all fucked when it inevitably happens again? What happened last time?

Okay, prick, I'll be a 1L in 10 days. Should I just wait until then?

until you have your grades I dont see a point discussing the practice with any 0L. do some research in commercial real estate and you would already know distressed real estate fund or zoning regulation is less disturbed by the crisis . and there are so many different aspects in real estate. That is the reason you should not post here.

Since there's no reason for the above poster to post anon to tell someone not to post here, I've de-anoned, but since no, 0Ls can't ask questions here, I'm moving this thread. (I know it's an artificial distinction this close to school starting but it's the simplest way of handling the issue.)

Dang, Mia, nony was just trying to give you agency and acknowledge you as an individual, not another man's property...mrs.miawallace wrote:mrs. mia wallace. MRS.A. Nony Mouse wrote:Msmiawallace, right above me.
