How much does changing deans affect students?

Post by RubyRod » Fri Mar 27, 2015 1:05 pm

I am considering two schools, USC and UCLA. A brand new dean is starting at USC with the class of 2018, UCLA's dean has announced she wants to step down and is just waiting on a replacement. UCLA has also begun a huge revamp under Dean Moran that will then be transferred to a new dean.

Are these situations something I should be worried about? What sort of effects, if any, will I see as a student?

If the school(s) are replacing deans because of monetary cutbacks, hmmm. Given the status of these schools, you should be good.
