Are there any good guides online for getting better at researching using Westlaw or Lexis?

Go to their trainings on campus. Follow them on FB to get alerts about research videos. Or just seek out their research videos (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/user/LexisNexis ... ols/videos).

Could also throw yourself upon the mercy of the legal librarians. At NU, at least, they are super nice people.

assuming you are have student access, lexis and westlaw both have hotlines you can call where they will walk you through exactly how to search for a specific thing
