Unsure why I could not find this topic, maybe my search skills were just sucking tonight... However I am trying to figure out my schedule of classes for the next 3 semesters (I am a 2L). I would like to include some bar tested classes so I am not learning even more material for the first time. Are there some that you guys/girls would reccomend taking? Or should I be taking them all?
The classes really include: Bus Org, Family law, con crim pro i/ii, commercial, sales and leases...
Thank you in advance TLS
I guess What i mean in summary is, generally are some of these easier than the others that I dont necessarily need or should take before bar prep?

Re: Classes to take in Law school that are bar tested
The answer to your question will depend on the state in which you plan to take the Bar Exam. Regardless of where you go to law school, all uniform and multistate bar exam subjects are taught as required core courses. The state specific content, may or may not be required at your school, or even offered as an elective. For example Oil & Gas is tested on the Texas Bar and most law schools outside of LA, OK, MT, TX and WY don't even offer a course in Oil&Gas.
Your first task should be to go to the website for your board of bar examiners and get a list of the tested subjects and print the most recent exam questions and model answers. Use that list to select your 2L and 3L courses. If your law school has an Academic Support department, find out if there are special bar prep courses, or bar writing workshops offered by your school. At my law school, I will refer students who are taking the bar exam in another state to an academic support director at a law school in the student's target state for guidance.

Re: Classes to take in Law school that are bar tested
I took the Texas bar, which has a wide range of topics.
There was nothing tested that I needed to take a class in school for. For purposes of the bar exam, everything was learnable through bar prep.
I'm glad I took Evidence, though. That made bar prep easier.

Re: Classes to take in Law school that are bar tested
Personally there were a lot of MBE questions on the bar that I would not have gotten correct if I didn't remember the topic from a class.
At the very least you should take con law, crim pro 1, and bus orgs.
