Taking the NY Bar 3L year? (Mostly for 2Ls and 3Ls)

I've read a little about this. I'm wondering 1) how do you and students at your school feel about it; 2) How supportive has your administration been of people doing this; 3) has anyone heard anything from potential employers about how they feel about this? Bonus points for naming your school.

I'm curious because I can totally see this being something Deans try and quietly kill through quiet lobbying/negotiation. Afterall, it hasn't been enacted yet and it can easily fall off the radar. I'm wondering if this will really be an option for me in 3-4 years.
