MPP - Abroad.

Post by gnomgnomuch » Thu Aug 07, 2014 10:54 am

Hey guys, I'd really appreciate your input on this.

I'm a rising senior, my GPA is 3.7. I'm certain that I want to do Law, however I'm not certain that I want to do Law right after graduation. I wouldn't mind, but its something that I can hold off on for 2-4 years.

I'm looking into schools abroad - LSE, UCL, KCL - for their masters of public policy programs. The programs are cheaper and shorter than American ones, and don't even require GMAT/GRE's.

My question is this - if anyone has any experience/anecdotes - would I be able to get a MPP from those schools, and then get a job in the US? Would these schools be looked at favorably/unfavorably/no difference when I'll be applying for Jobs?

Thank's for any input you guys might have!

Do you want to be a lawyer? Or a master of public policy? Pick whichever you prefer and run with it.
