Other Forums for Law, like Stackexchange?
I apologize if this question is unconscionable, but I wanted to learn about other excellent, reputable, helpful, well-organized forums about jurisprudence and studying law. I tried Google but it produced too many results.
I'm looking for something like StackExchange, but they only have a proposal for Law http://area51.stackexchange.com/proposals/67858/law that's still in beta and not (yet) operational.

The issue is that you will get people trying to do it themselves. Which is a terrible idea in law.

I see, but what about in the old days when lawyers could just article, without any law school? I'm not arguing for this, but as a novice, I just want to learn more about the law.

Law was simpler, barrier for entry was lower, people were dumber.skerz0 wrote:I see, but what about in the old days when lawyers could just article, without any law school? I'm not arguing for this, but as a novice, I just want to learn more about the law.

So go to a law library and look at treatises and practice guides.skerz0 wrote:I see, but what about in the old days when lawyers could just article, without any law school? I'm not arguing for this, but as a novice, I just want to learn more about the law.
