But half the class is above median. And I read GTM so it won't happen to me.

DF, I already sleep with GTM under my pillow every night, and therefore I know I will be top ~10%. Let's assume that this brilliant plan somehow doesn't work. What then is the DF approved method to avoid being median pwned?

Do you highlight your books with 7 different colors?

Of course. I supplement this strategy by underlining in pencil when something is especially important.

More than myself. I would die for the law.

I am going to lawl school because I am bad at math. Based off your recently provided formula I should expect to graduate number one in my class?

I feel like from the time I ever first learned about "median" "mean" "mode" in like third grade, median was the one I didn't give a shit about and even through undergrad it was always what's the average this/average that etc. in law school every fucking thing is about medians lol

You cared about "mode"? That always seemed like the least useful of the three to me.

Top 10% of the remainder not in the top 10% --> Top 10% of the bottom 90% --> Between the overall top 10% and top 19% lol

I ALWAYS look to mode in figuring out where I'm going in life it's the most underappreciated one of the three 8)

Srs question: is being bottom of the class at schools past HYS, say like 20th percentile, any worse than being just below median like at the 45th percentile? Does anyone really give a crap if you're closer to median but still below?

Yeah, makes sense since there's less differentiation. Looking for schools lower than HYS without the H/P/L stuff. At Yale especially with its small class, I imagine you could be dead last and still get a great gig somewhere. Not sure how far they even bother to rank.

And yet people below median apparently have good outcomes since so many people from t14 have good outcomes

But yeah just do drop out from CCN below median

Except, in 1L classes at least, grades are curved to an average, not a median, for obvious reasons.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
