I'd say any T1 school would be worth this much if you could somehow guarantee top 10%. LJL at 100% "confidenc" though. You couldn't have 100% confidence of top 10% at Cooley, let alone a place like Gtown.

In my class every single person who was confident of top 10% did not make it there. The top 10% were people who killed themselves working and/or happened to be really good at issue spotter exams and did not realize that they were beforehand.

Going in with the attitude that you will definitely be top 10% you are setting yourself up for failure.

To answer your question: yes, Georgetown is worth 140k if you know you will be top 10%. You will have an excellent outcome and big law if you want it. But this is the equivalent of saying "Is it worth it to buy a lottery ticket if I know I will win the jackpot?"

You won't be in class with average law students. The T14 comprises roughly the top 20% of law students, so if you place yourself in the top 10% of all law students, you're about median at a T14.

If you're so confident, you should attend GWAmerican University for free and save yourself the debt.
