I can read the job description of docketing clerk and understand their general role, but it still doesn't give me much of a clear picture as to what the work is actually like in a biglaw firm. What is it like being a docket clerk? How much do their duties and daily tasks differ from those of the standard legal assistant? I know all of these positions do repetitive work, but docketing clerk work seems even more monotonous and somewhat of a step down(?), not that I have too much of problem with that... Plus I want any biglaw exposure that I can get...
Hoping to hear from people who have been docketing clerks.
Thanks

You're going to be closing files and storing/rearranging them. Not fun but better than most other shit.huehuehue wrote:I can read the job description of docketing clerk and understand their general role, but it still doesn't give me much of a clear picture as to what the work is actually like in a biglaw firm. People that work in docketing generally suck at docketing.
