Any Major Changes to the Landscape of Biglaw Recently?

Kirkland has some new plants in their Chicago office, not sure if they will be able to sustain them long-term though

Most biglaw offices are in urban buildings so there aren't really yards per se, but recent evidence points to some associates having plants within said offices so I guess that counts. Idk if it's a recent development though.

A lot of people seem to adopt this vaguely positive outlook that SA class sizes will continue to creep up. Is this outlook warranted by recent developments or is it just wishful thinking? I'm in it for the c/o of 2018 and I know I will be stalking OCI threads hardcore this year.
