Gunners Reading Law Prof's Articles 0L Summer Forum

I joined my school's admitted students FB page (starting 1L in the fall) and the gunners are already identifying themselves. Posts have included: a guy telling us how we should dress to class (business casual), the same guy "likes" every one of his own posts on the group page and another gunner told us (complete strangers) that he broke up with his girlfriend to focus on law school yesterday (okay??); I actually confused one gunner with an adcom. I figured he worked for the school, that's why he's been posting so much advice and advertising for the school. He knows adcoms at my school by first name already and has mentioned that he's visited the school multiple times (aside from ASD) and talked with profs.

I've ignored them up to this point but then I saw a post where two gunners posted links to law articles written by some of the professors at my school. I have just been reading GTM, TLS, and doing LEEWS. We don't even have our class schedule yet.

The worst part about gunners seems to be that they can actually convince you that you're doing something wrong. Should I be doing this??

Lol, you should be doing exactly none of that, and praying to every God you believe in that those people are not in your section. Not because they'll make your curve harder, but just because class with them will be insufferable.

That's the amazing part. It's a regional in a secondary market ($$$$). Yet you would think these guys were prepping for HYS.

I thought this was TCR. I mean I understand checking out articles written by your prof during the year to help get a feel for exams. But we don't even have our schedule yet...
