Question on "the wait"

Post by iloveturtles » Fri May 02, 2014 4:46 pm

Hi, I just want to ask how your opinion/experience with waiting on a decision since you've all been through this before.

I have a school that I want to get into that has my application in review for over a month now. Their initial deadline was April 1st, but then they extended it to May 1st with fee waivers and now to June 1st. It is making me antsy knowing they want more people to apply and can't make a decision on me. What are your thoughts and opinions? I am a splitter with LSAT around or above their 75th percentile and GPA below their 25th percentile.

In addition, there is another law school that I applied to that has been in review for over two weeks. Then suddenly, I began receiving emails from them yesterday. I am apparently on their emailing list (one email said "come check out your alumni") so I assumed they accepted me. When I checked the online status checker, it still says "in review" so I am confused. Tried emailing them about it, but there was no response.

Don't see a question here.

Just be patient. Distract yourself with a hobby/booze/whatever.
