1L asking about summer job application personal statements

I'm looking to apply for summer jobs and I see that this one employer asks for a 500 words or less directed personal statement...

What do I write about? Does anyone have a sample of what these should look like? Should I make these resemble the ones I used when applying for law school?

What kind of job? It's really impossible to tell you without knowing the job.
