Franchise relationship law question
Some guy bought a franchise in 2012 for a term of 5 years. Since then in 2013, there is a new owner for the guy's state. The franchisor, with its new owner, sent the guy a new franchise with different terms. Does this franchisor have the right to cancel and change the former agreement when the guy (franchisee) still has a good 3-4 years of his term left?
I would appreciate references to specific code and cases.

Are you being serious? Contact an actual attorney, not a bunch of law students and 0Ls. WTF, dude.FineGentleman wrote:Some guy bought a franchise in 2012 for a term of 5 years. To be fair, some of us are actual attorneys, but expecting free legal advice on the interwebs is misguided for a litany of reasons.PRgradBYU wrote: Are you being serious? Contact an actual attorney, not a bunch of law students and 0Ls. WTF, dude.

I suggest starting with 1 U.S.C. § 1 and working forward from there. Hope this helps!
