If you are interning for a judge, and his clerks try to give you feedback on your draft of an opinion, don't brush them off by saying, "Oh, I'll just talk to the judge about it."

This was a few years ago and was not during a legal internship, but the lesson stands the test of time:

Do NOT put a protein bar in the microwave without taking it out of its wrapper. It's generally looked down upon if you nearly burn down the building on your first day.

That said, do NOT put a protein bar in the refrigerator.
