Are TLS Stats verified? Forum

Hi, I'm new to this website and I am extremely impressed by the vastness of the available information. I just wanted to know if the TLS stats are actually verified?

No they are self reported, but I accept them as fact for the most part unless its an obvious joke.

TLS stats are inferior to lawschoolnumbers.com stats to the point that TLS ought to consider removing their stats part and straight touting LSN directly under the theory 1. TLS may boost LSN participation, and 2. some may choose to not fill out an LSN because they've already done a TLS stats page, but some do both. The two services are not really complimentary at all.

Like everything in the law school world, it is self reported, and one only gets in trouble if caught (and maybe not even then)

Not verified, but taken at face value because for the most part nobody has a reason to lie. When people fudge their stats, it's only to remain perfectly anonymous, not to inflate their own numbers.
