Does Speed Reading Ever Get Used in Law School?

For those who can speed read, do you find that it's a skill that can be used in law school (be it for exams, homework reading, research, etc.)?

Most T14 schools have remedial speed reading clinics in the evening for students who haven't yet mastered it. Generally speaking, speed reading is one of those skills that separates the A's from the B's when finals come around.
