I moved across the country to be here so I have some pretty strong opinions and good advice when it comes to adjusting to life out here.
I'm about ten years older than the average incoming student becuase of my military background so I can offer insight outside of the normal "straight outta school" mode of thought.

Re: GEORGE MASON 1L HAPPY TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS
If I am not mistaken, you are one of the 1L students in the open house event, right? I thought it was really informative and well-organized. anyways, I have a "hard science" background and am also significantly older than the average student body. My question is how are the IP students doing in George Mason? Anybody you know have secured an internship in summer?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I am also curious about this, specifically at Maier & Maier.rebel225 wrote:If I am not mistaken, you are one of the 1L students in the open house event, right? Sorry for the delayed response...life is busy around the end of the semester.LaBarrister wrote:I am also curious about this, specifically at Maier & Maier.rebel225 wrote:If I am not mistaken, you are one of the 1L students in the open house event, right? Rebel225, you are not mistaken
I am not on the IP track or concentration so I really can't speak to that. From what I understand, a hard science background is great from IP (obviously) and although it's not rare around the DC area, it is still favored by IP firms. The couple of guys I know doing IP were able to secure employment very easily. One of them has a PhD and the other a Master's....dont know how a BS will fair though.
