Useful law school books on audio? For a 0L

Post by Hspeaksfriend » Sun Sep 23, 2012 12:58 am

0L here. About to take a long road trip. Was wondering if anyone has heard of any useful law school related books on audio? I'm just interested in knowing the basics of all the core classes. Any suggestions?

Thanks 8)

Pay the $50 deposit or whatever to get access to BarBri's 1L stuff. They have audio lectures you can listen to on an iPhone.

I don't know how helpful it would be (it could even be detrimental for you as a 0L), but Arthur Miller's Sum & Substance is an audio book overview of 1L Civ Pro.

Thanks. I'll keep those in mind. Yeah I've heard some prep work can be bad, but I'm really just interested in learning the basic stuff (black letter law?) that's true no matter which way the professor leans

Yes, but there is so much BLL that different Professors focus on different laws so it really is often hugely inefficent to study BLL as a 0L. Read Getting to Maybe.

I listened to the sum&substance on property by jurgensmeyer and the civ pro one by arthur miller. nice on some points; good to just soak it into my brain.
