Cornell students: how to navigate the reserve list?

Post by GokartMozart315 » Tue Apr 10, 2012 2:40 pm

I haven't been able to find a thread on this yet. I'm on the reserve list, which I understand is a better position than the waitlist? Could somebody flesh it out a bit, and advise as to how best to get in from the list?

It is a group of a few hundred people that will be re-reviewed around Mid-May. From there, an official summer waitlist is created. I've been on it before, trying everything from flying out there to interview to multiple letters of continued interest. IMO They don't make a difference, it seems they use this list to round out their incoming class, and often there is no movement at all.

nice name! interesting...any idea how many people were taken off of it your year? also, is there an interview for the reserve list, or only for the wait list?
