I was wondering if anyone could shed some light for me on what stats would be required to clerk for the Washington / Oregon COA or supreme court? It's hard to find info on state courts...I'm assuming it's competitive, but I'm curious how competitive. Federal COA-type?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Seattle / UW / L&C People
Thanks very much. I do find it odd that the Oregon Supreme / Appellate courts are asking for applications from people in Texas, since I'm sure it is pretty regional. Though I'm hoping my application might pique the interest of a judge. Since I'm not from the region, a clerkship seems like one of the better ways to establish some ties and make myself attractive to firms there.
